About the Plywood Rocking Chair
Designed as an ultra-comfortable lounge armchair for adults, the Vilwood Rocking Chair doubles as a structural 3D puzzle. Its clever interlocking modular design fits together smoothly without screws, hardware or toolkits. Precision-crafted organic curves adapt to adult anatomy with exceptional lumbar support, while a carefully calculated arc base delivers a fluid, gentle rocking motion – ideal for nursing, reading by the fireplace or unwinding after a long day. Every panel is CNC-cut with millimetre accuracy from high-density 18 mm first-class birch plywood; we never use particle board, MDF or low-grade woods for this piece. Every chair is cut, sanded and finished at our partner workshop in Balıkesir, Türkiye, then inspected and flat-packed for secure worldwide shipping – pieces are in stock and leave within 3–5 business days. A single full-length cushion covering both the backrest and the seat is included, in Cream, Grey or Blue. Natural grain patterns vary slightly, making every chair one of a kind.
